When: November 16th to November 23rd, 2014 – World Team Championship

Where: Host Venue: Los Mangos Golf Course, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

Where: Host Hotel: Lifestyle Holidays

Hotel Fee: $595.00 US per person and is based on double occupancy. Which means you will share your room with another hitter or family or friend, unless you pay the full shot ($1190.00) for the room. You are responsible for your own flight. The athletes, families and friends must book their accommodations through the ILDC, no exceptions. Anyone who does not book their accommodations through the ILDC for this event, will be charged additional fees for ILDC related concessions. (Transportation, Dinners, Award Ceremonies, special ILDC functions etc.)

Included in Hotel Package: This is an all Inclusive Plan and includes the following:

  • All Food – including 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and snacks
  • All Beverages including house brand liquor, draft beer, and wine by the glass (Note: premium liquor is available to you and an additional cost which you will be responsible for paying the bill)
  • Use of Gym and Steam room
  • Non – Motorized Water sports kayaks and boogie boards
  • Kids clubs and activities ( for those wishing to do a family vacation and compete) ages 4 - 11
  • Unlimited access to fitness center
  • Unlimited access to Internet Cafe
  • Tax and Service Charges
  • Transportation to and from the Hotel and Airport
  • Hitters will arrive no later than November 16th and depart no earlier than November 23rd, 2014.
  • PAYMENTS FOR THE HOTEL FEE ($595.00 US) MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 01st 2014; a penalty of $50.00 US will be charged for every week after, if pre-arrangements haven’t been made with the Directors of the ILDC. This policy will be strictly adhered to this year.
  • Entry Fee payment of $450.00 US must be made in CASH upon your arrival date November 16th to a staff member of the ILDC. Registration and Entry fee will be done at this time.

Team Event – 14 teams – maximum (70 Hitters) including a Maximum of 2 select International Teams

Men’s Open Division – 18 – 45 years

Seniors Division – 45 years old and over

Women’s Division – 14 and older

Each event will consist of a double knockout formatted competition, up to and including the finals. Meaning you must have lost twice even in the final round to be out, and a winner declared. The draw for all events will take place prior to the event schedule.

Competition Days: Are as follows: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All Players must be available on these days for the events as scheduled. Failure to be present when your name is called will result in an automatic loss being registered. If it is your 2nd loss then you will be deemed eliminated and forfeit any right to a refund and or prize money unless you are entitled based on placing in the competition.

Entry Fee - $450.00 US. - $400.00 US goes directly to the prize purse and $50.00 US goes to the admin fee.

Prize Purse– Is solely based on entry fees – if we have a full field of 70 hitters, the purse would be as follows 70 x $400.00 = $28,000.00. However, if we only field a total of 40 hitters the prize purse is as follows; 40 x $400.00 = $16,000.00 US Dollars.

Important to Note and Understand: The Prize Purse is solely based on the following formula; number of entry fees X $400.00 US dollars. The prize purse will be paid in cash at the awards dinner on Saturday night, following the conclusion of the event to the winners respectively.

Prize Money Breakdown: The Prize Purse will be paid out as follows;

  • Team Event - Minimum guaranteed Pay Out – $5000.00 US of total Prize Purse -1st Place Team Only (The Team payout will be subject to change based on entries)

Remaining Prize Money

  • Men’s Open – Pay Out – 60% of Remaining Prize Purse – 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th paid.
  • Seniors Division – Pay Out – 20% of Remaining Prize Purse -1st and 2nd paid
  • Women’s Division – Pay Out – 20% of Remaining Prize Purse – 1st and 2nd paid
  • Teams– This is on a first come first serve basis. Which means you can secure you team’s entry by submitting the 5 names on your team, 3 open hitters, 1 female and 1 senior, and paying for the team’s hotel fee.
  • Each Country may submit 3 Paid Teams; the 4th Team will be put on a stand-by list until the availability can be determined on September 01st 2014. Should the ILDC permit the 4th Team entry they will have until September 15th to submit payment for their hotel fees.
